Request a Rating
Charity Intelligence is working hard to review and update as many charities as possible. We're busy keeping our current research coverage on over 800 charities up to date.
If you would like to request a new charity that is not currently rated (please check this full list of rated charities), you can use our request form to enter the charity name that you are interested in.
Before you submit a request (we're getting inundated)
1. Please first check this list. We get thousands of requests for World Vision, Plan Canada and other charities we already have reports on. Maybe you just couldn't find them in the search box. Hopefully, this full alphabetical list makes it easier for you to find what you are looking for.
2. Please give us the charity's 9 digit charity registration number. This can be found either on its website, on its tax receipts or through Canada Revenue Agency listings for charities. We only assess registered charities. There is another group called non-profit organizations. Non-profit organizations cannot issue tax donation receipts and there are zero requirements for non-profits to publicly provide information. We cannot assess non-profit organizations. Please check the organization you want information on is a registered charity rather than a non-profit.
Examples of non-profit organizations fundraising in Canada that people frequently request: Greenpeace, International Fund for Animal Welfare, Friends of Canadian Broadcasting, ShowKids You Car, Council of Canadians, Mouth and Food Painting Artists, Mercy for Animals, Disabled Veterans Support Canada.
Other commonly requested organizations are Value Village (a for-profit US corporation), Shop 4 Charity (a Canadian business), KIVA (a US charity) PETA (a US charity not registered in Canada).
Those charities receiving the most votes will be analyzed and ratings will be posted.
