House was the majority of program spending. RMHM opened a new Ronald McDonald House in September 2022. The new house increased its square feed from 11,000 to 60,000 and bedrooms from 14 to 40.
The other program costs went toward the Family Room. RMHM’s Family Room is a 3,500-square-foot space inside HSC Children’s Hospital. The Family Room has three bedrooms available for families with the most critical needs.
In 2023, RMHM provided 10,929 nights of accommodation in both its House and Family Room. This is a 103% increase compared to the 5,380 nights of accommodation provided in 2022.
