Registered in 1979, Belleville General Hospital Foundation (BGHF) is a charity that raises money for Quinte Healthcare Corporation. Quinte Healthcare Corporation is a healthcare network that consists of four hospitals: Belleville General Hospital, North Hastings Hospital, Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital and Trenton Memorial Hospital. In 2023, BGHF granted $1.4m to Quinte Healthcare Corporation. Most of this money went towards patient care and equipment.

Belleville General Hospital Foundation has six main areas of patient care: Cancer Care, Cardiology & Cardiac Care, Diagnostics & Laboratory, Emergency & Trauma Care, Maternity & Pediatrics, and Mental Health. In 2022 (the most recent data available at the time of this update), Belleville General Hospital (BGH) reported 20,347 oncology visits, 31,494 diagnostic radiology visits, and 40,056 emergency visits. It also reports having 10,722 inpatients and 1,345 babies born.

To provide efficient, high-quality care, BGHF funds up-to-date equipment. In 2022 BGHF provided Belleville General Hospital with funds to upgrade its equipment and improve patient care. Some purchases were: two vital signs monitors ($8,511), two ultrasound systems ($352,539), and one endoscopy tower & colonoscope ($59,474).
