About Lloydminster Region Health Foundation:

Founded in 1983, Lloydminster Region Health Foundation (LRHF) raises funds for public healthcare in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. The community is situated on the border with Alberta and serves Albertans under contract with Alberta Health Services. The charity also supports Project Sunrise, a mental health initiative. LRHF reports that one in five Albertans experience mental health concerns or addiction; this number becomes one in three in Lloydminster. LRHF runs events, such as galas and dodgeball tournaments, to fundraise.

In F2023, the charity provided $956k in grants. Its audited financial statements break down its expenditure as follows: 52% towards greatest needs, 29% towards community care, 28% towards acute care, and 1% towards continuing care. It also provides scholarships to students pursuing nursing, general health, or professional development education.
