OVERVIEW

About Northview Community Church:

Northview Community Church is a 0-star charity. It has an F in results reporting, meaning it reports very little information on its programs. The charity's overhead costs are outside of Ci's reasonable range for overhead spending. Before you give, read Charity Intelligence's report.

Founded in 1980, Northview Community Church (NCC) is a Mennonite church located in Abbotsford, BC. Northview Community Church states that its core values are loving God, loving one another, and loving the world. The Church has four campuses where it conducts its services: Downes Road, Central Abbotsford, East Abbotsford, and Mission.

Northview Community Church runs several ministries for its members. Its Care ministry provides counselling services, financial help, prayer support, and pastor meetings. Some key courses it provides are marriage prep courses, single parenting courses, and GriefShare courses.

NCC conducts several specific ministries for kids, middle schoolers, high schoolers, young adults, women, men, and seniors. These groups provide weekly meetings and community support to help members form relationships and connections.

The Church plants new NCC affiliated churches across Canada by providing financial, leadership and administrative support to new churches. In 2018, NCC decided to direct more resources to international church planting. Since 2018, NCC has planted over 346 churches around the world.

Northview Community Church also baptizes members, runs bible study groups, and provides membership foundations training classes.

While Charity Intelligence highlights these key results, they may not be a complete representation of Northview Community Church’s results.

Finances

Northview Community Church received donations of $11.6m in F2021. Administrative costs are 3% of revenues (excluding investment income) and the charity does not report any fundraising costs. For every dollar donated, 97 cents go towards the charity’s programs. This is not within Ci’s reasonable range for overhead spending, which recommends 65 to 95 cents going to the cause for each dollar.

NCC has $6.4m in funding reserves that can cover just over 9 months of program costs.
