About Toronto Youth For Christ:

Founded in 1995, Toronto Youth For Christ (TYFC), also called Youth Unlimited, is a faith-based charity that helps youth develop both personally and spiritually, by providing caring people to whom they can turn. The charity’s vision is that every young person in the Greater Toronto Area will be transformed by God’s love and life-changing power and will be a redemptive presence in their family, community, and beyond. The most recent annual report is from 2018. In F2018, TYFC reports reaching 4,126 youth through its initiatives.

In F2018, Toronto Youth For Christ had 67 active initiatives with 170 total partnerships including churches and local organizations. Of the 67 initiatives, 37 were community outreach programs which include summer camps and sports programs, 19 were specialized initiatives, 8 were training and equipping initiatives which include conferences and workshops, and 3 were marketplace initiatives which include job readiness and employment placement.

In F2018, TYFC reports that of the 4,126 youth reached, 1,448 regularly attended the programming. TYFC also reports that of those reached, 558 youth personally devoted their life to Jesus, 71 youth partook in family reconciliation or other family matters, 121 youth were helped with finding a job placement, 31 youth were supported through issues in the criminal justice system, and 2 youth were helped in exiting sex work or other exploitative circumstances.

Toronto Youth For Christ is a medium-sized charity with total donations of $3.9m in F2017.
