Founded in 2000, CanadaHelps is an online giving platform that aims to encourage and facilitate charitable giving. Despite this, total giving in the sector increased from $11.3 billion in 2020 to $12.1 billion in 2021. The charity also reports that 57% of charities were unable to meet current levels of demand. In F2024, CanadaHelps launched its newest program: Charity Growth Academy to improve the ease of digital transformation. The charity created this program in response to its 2023 Digital Skills Survey, which showed that 48% of respondents reported they did not have the skills, expertise, or knowledge to digitalize their charity.
